One of the central lessons of Jiu Jitsu is that It is possible to begin in a very bad situation and get to a much better place. The message is that anyone can learn the techniques and strategies to problem solve under pressure and stay safe when faced with danger.

Of course, it’s easy to just say that anyone can do it – it’s a much different enterprise to actually create the conditions for people of all ages and financial status to succeed. We have established a scholarship program to address this.

Through this program we will offer a way for those that cannot afford membership the ability to train. We believe that people do not value things that are free so our program will require sacrifices from the students in order to qualify. Members that qualify for the scholarship program will need to uphold standards of citizenship to The Academy in terms of class attendance and behavior on the mats.
